Joan Y. Uhrin

Joan Y. Uhrin, 84, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Wednesday, February 1st, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Schuylkill, Pottsville.

Born in St. Clair on March 11, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Victoria (Jersick)  and Joseph Stickloon.

She was the wife of Michael Uhrin.

After graduation from St. Clair High School, Joan attended Pottsville Nursing School and received a nursing degree. She was then employed as an independent nurse for many years.

In addition to her husband, Joan is survived by a daughter, Cathy Woznicki. She is also survived by grandchildren, Melissa Jenkins, Elizabeth Krisa, Theresa Woznicki; great grandchildren, Jocelyn, Alexa, Owen, Elijah, Logan, Tyson, and Sonya; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her brothers and sister.

Services are private at the convenience of family.
