John J. Buleza, Jr.

John J. Buleza, Jr., 76, of West Brunswick, passed away Thursday, April 26th, at his residence.

Born in Pottsville on November 17, 1941, he was a son of Irene (Winn) Buleza, of Pottsville, and the late John J. Buleza, Sr.

He recently celebrated 50 years of marriage with his loving wife, Sonja H. (Valkosak) Buleza.

John was a graduate of Nativity BVM High School, Class of 1959.

He attended Penn State University for two years, prior to joining the United States Army.

John was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War and supported and participated in numerous veteran organizations and programs.

He was an active life member of the Robert E. Baker Post #38 American Legion, life member of the VFW, life member of the Veterans of the Vietnam War, Inc., Schuylkill County - Post #29, life member of Good Will Fire Co. No. 4, Cressona, and a life member of the NRA.

He was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven.

John retired from Lehigh Valley Dairy, Schuylkill Haven, as a supervisor.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is also survived by a step son, David Zachar & wife, Christy, Orwigsburg, a daughter, Yvonne Buck & husband, Gary, Schuylkill Haven; four grandchildren: Zade & Cody Zachar, Scott Delinko, & Dana McGinley; two great-grandchildren: Tatum & Quincy; two sisters, Carolyn Elison, Reading, & Irene Gagliardi, Harrisburg, and two brothers, David Buleza, Pottsville, & William Buleza, Oregon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 2nd, with Rev. Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik officiating.

A viewing will be held Tuesday from 5 - 7 p.m. at Geschwindt Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven.

An additional viewing time will be held Wednesday 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church.

Interment with military honors will follow mass at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
