John Michael Cromyak, 82, of Pottsville, passed away Dec. 20 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown, surrounded by his family.
Born in Brockton, Nov. 14, 1935, he was a son of the late John and Mary Stefonick Cromyak.
He was the widower of Linda Alice Rodriquez Cromyak, who passed away April 6, 2017.
He was of the Catholic faith.
He worked as a truck driver for Weaver Pen and Pencil, Dixon Ticonderoga.
He was a member of the North Ward Social Club, PIA Racing Stables, 25 Pines and the East Ward Social Club.
In addition to his wife, Linda, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Jean Padolick Cromyak; an infant granddaughter, Jona Lynn Cromyak.
John is survived by three children, Jon Ann M. Cromyak, companion of William McCarthy, Schuylkill Haven, David A. Cromyak, husband of Krista Holley Cromyak, Pottsville, Anthony J. Cromyak, husband of Sally Ditzler Cromyak, Saint Clair; grandchildren, Jonna Lyn Roberts, Logan and Bryce Cromyak, Sierrah Faust, Amanda Cromyak, Anthony J. Cromyak Jr.; siblings, George Cromyak, husband of Theresa, Pottsville, Francis Cromyak, companion of Dorothy Kupetz, MaryD, and Marie Kemmerle, widow of Edward, Nesquehoning.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven. A viewing for family and friends will be held at 6 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
