John A. Zulick
John A. Zulick, 89, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday, October 8th, at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.
John was born in South Manheim Township, on July 19, 1927, a son of the late Esther (Heim) and Theodore Zulick.
He was the husband of Olivetta D. (Trout) Zulick.
He was employed by the former American Argo Corporation as the cutting room foreman. He retired in 1992 with 41 years of service.
John was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, Legion Post 38, VFW Post 3975 in Auburn, Catholic War Vets Post 1051 in Pottsville, Men’s Club of St. Ambrose, 13th District Commander and Adjutant & Deputy Commander of American Legion.
He was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, Class of 1945.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by sisters Anna and Beatrice; brothers Harry, Wayne, George, Leroy, Robert and Donald.
Surviving are brothers Dale Schuylkill Haven; Ronald, Bremerton, WA; sisters Lois and Donna, Schuylkill Haven and Patricia, Bel Air, MD.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, on Thursday, October 13 at 10:30 am, with Rev. Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik officiating.
A viewing will be held for family and friends prior from 9:15 to 10:15 in the Chapel.
Interment will be at Schuylkill Memorial Park Schuylkill Haven.
Memorial donations may be St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, 201 Randel Street, Schuylkill Haven PA 17972.
