Joseph Sobol, Jr.

Joseph Sobol, Jr., 88, of New Ringgold, passed away Friday, August 20th, at his residence.

Born in Wilkes Barre, on May 10, 1933, a son of the late Sophie and Joseph  Sobol, Sr.

He was the husband of Rosalee "Peppy" (Schell) Sobol, of 36 years.

He served in the U.S. Army as a PFC in the Korean War. He received the Korean Service Medal with one Bronze Service Star.

He was formerly employed by Garden State Tanning in Fleetwood until retiring in 1998.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Bruce J., Pamela and Donna; step sons Johnny Wyatt, Denver, PA, Michael Wyatt, Reading and Jody Wyatt, Reading; seven great granddaughters; and a brother Edward Sobol, Wickenburg, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Chet and Charles and a sister Josephine

Services are private at the convenience of family.
