Josephine K. Dubick, 90, of Lake Wynonah, passed away Saturday, January 30th, at home surrounded by her loving family.Born in Minersville on April 29, 1930, she was a daughter of the late David & Mary (Gallo) Dallago.
She was the widow of John Dubick.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by her daughters: Catherine Ann Dubick, Michelle Eileen Dubick, & Mary Susan Dubick Capuzzi.
Josephine was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven.
She was a graduate of Minersville High School, and PGH Nursing School, Philadelphia. She received her BSN at Neumann college, formerly known as Our Lady of Angels college, and then her MSN at Weidner University, Chester, PA.
Josephine worked at Good Samaritan Hospital, Pottsville, PA, in the 1950s followed by sacred heart hospital, Allentown, PA and then finished her years in nursing at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital, Darby, PA where she worked as a supervisor, clinical coordinator and assistant DON. Through all her years in nursing, patients and her nurses always came first.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Ann Chicora, wife of Joseph, of Lake Wynonah; a son, John S. Dubick, of Lake Wynonah; grandchildren: Christopher Capuzzi, Kevin M. Capuzzi, Joseph J. Chicora III, Amanda Michelle Chicora, Steven Michael Capuzzi, & Melissa Lynn Capuzzi, great-grandchildren: Isabelle Capuzzi, Reese Kathryn Chicora, Annallise Capuzzi, Adalynn Jo Chicora, & James Capuzzi, a brother, Louis Dallago, of Philadelphia, and a son-in-law, James Capuzzi, West Chester.
Private services will be conducted at the family's convenience.
