June M. McShaw, 73, of Pottsville, passed away Saturday while in the company of family members, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown, Lehigh County.
June was born in Pottsville, Jan. 6, 1943, a daughter of the late Lorraine "Cora" Geiger and Wilbert Reber.
She attended Schuylkill Haven High School.
She was employed as a machine operator at Van Heusen, Pottsville.
She was the wife of John Butch McShaw, Pottsville, for 56 years.
June was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all who will miss her.
June was preceded in death by a son, Jason M. McShaw; a brother, Brian W. Reber.
Besides her husband, June is survived by two daughters, Debra A., wife of Donald Womer, Auburn, and Kelli L. Nettles, Minersville; five grandchildren, Stephen Fessler, Auburn, Shannon M., wife of Jason Seiders, Pottsville, Brittany M. Verchick an her fiance, David Stevenosky, Pottsville, Bryce J. and Braydin R. Nettles, Minersville; four great-grandchildren, Blakelee, Jayeson, Tayla and Stephen Jr.; two sisters, Betty, wife of John Strauch, Schuylkill Haven, and Shirley, wife of Gary Krammes, Delaware; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. Family and friends may call from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. at the chapel at St. Patrick Church. Interment will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
