Kathleen M. Beck, 64, of Auburn, passed away Sunday, August 7th, at Reading Hospital, West Reading.
Born in Manhattan, NY on August 16, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Thomas & Rita (Daley) Keating.
She was the loving wife of Ned A. Beck, whom she married on September 12, 1970.
Kathleen was a graduate of Blue Mountain High School, and was formerly employed by local shoe factories.
She was of the Catholic faith and was a former member of St. Ambrose, RCC, Schuylkill Haven.
Kathleen also belonged to the Schuylkill Historical Fire Society and was a life member of the Auburn Fire Company.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by a daughter, Christina L. Gilbert & husband, Steven, Cressona, a son,Dennis W. Beck & wife, Jaynel, Orwigsburg, grandchildren; Gregory & Thomas Gilbert, Cressona, and Arik Beck, Orwigsburg, a sister, Lorraine Schrader & husband, Allen, Sr., Auburn, nieces: Tina Sibbett, Debbie Schrader & Brenda Massa & a nephew, Allen Schrader, Jr.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 20th at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., 25 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven, at 1 p.m.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of service on August 20th.
Private interment will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, at the family's convenience.
