Kenneth D. Yoder, Sr.

Kenneth D. Yoder, Sr., 92, of Orwigsburg, passed away Wednesday, June 26th, at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.

Born in Friedensburg, PA on February 18, 1932, he was a son of the late George & Carrie (Moyer) Yoder.

He was the widower of Shirley S. (Schrader) Yoder, his wife of 48 years.

In addition to his parents and wife, Ken is also preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Bashore & her husband, Hank, son, Kenny, brother, Arlan, & sister, Shirley.

Ken retired from the Pennsylvania Steel Foundry after years of service as a chipper/grinder.

He enjoyed playing cards and reminiscing with friends and family.

Ken is survived by his daughter, Rebecca, wife of Kristopher Heintzelman, of Broomall, PA; two grandsons: Joshua Yoder, & Corey Bashore, Josh's mother, Cheri Kurilla, and sister, Minerva "Sis" Gilbert.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 to 11 AM on Wednesday, July 3rd at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven. Private interment will be held at the family's convenience.
