Leroy R. Houtz, 83, of Pottsville, passed away Thursday, July 23rd, at Schuylkill Medical Center East .
Leroy was born in Mt Carbon, PA on May 23, 1932, a son of the late Elsie (Starr) and Henry Houtz.
He last worked at Pottsville hospital in the dietary department.
Leroy enjoyed attending Pottsville Senior Center
Leroy is also survived by two sisters, Claire Guitas, of Cressona; Hazel Krammes, of Schuylkill Haven.
Leroy was preceded in death by 4 brothers Clyde, Tim, William and Raymond and 3 sisters Louise Shirey, Dorothy Krammes and Beatrice Wingle.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home , Cressona, PA, at 10 am on Friday, July 31st, with Certified Funeral Celebrant Caitlyn Ebling officiating.
A visitation will be held Friday 9 - 10 am. at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home.
Interment private at convenience of the family in Mt Laurel Cemetery Pottsville.
