Lisa J. Mills, 50, of Pottsville, passed away Friday at her residence, while in the company of family members.
Born in Pottsville, Oct. 18, 1964, she was a daughter of Melvin R. and Mary A. Holland Kull, Pottsville.
She graduated from Pottsville Area High School in 1983.
She was the wife of John S. Mills, to whom she was married 28 years.
She was a member of Pottsville Salvation Army and was employed by the Salvation Army and Providence Place.
Lisa was preceded in death by an infant son.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lisa is survived by two sons, Jonathan R., husband of Amanda Mills, Jacksonville, N.C., and Brandon J. Mills, Pahrump, Nev.; four sisters, Theresa, wife of Stan Nebistinsky, Pottsville, Cheryl, widow of Jack Kelly, Pottsville; Mary Ann, wife of Elwood Orndorf, Pottsville; and Kim, wife of Maj. Duane Harris, Pittsburgh; six brothers, Raymond, husband of Barbie Kull, Clark Summit, Richard, husband of Marylou Kull, Pottsville, Darin, husband of Lois Kull, Hellerstown, Ronald, husband of Cheryl Kull, Pottsville, James, husband of Myllissa Kull, Schuylkill Haven, and Chris Kull, Colorado Springs, Colo.; aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at noon Saturday at the Pottsville Salvation Army, with Majors Kim and Duane Harris officiating. Family and friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at the Salvation Army. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
