Margaret Grace Kramer (Kehler) of Boyertown, PA entered her eternal home on Monday, May 13, 2024 surrounded by her family.
Born in Mount Carmel, PA on February 6, 1932, she was the daughter of Bertha and Raymond Kehler.
In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by Melvin Kramer (husband) and Ronald Kramer (infant son).
She is survived by one son, James Kramer (wife Dawn); one daughter, Patricia Stroop (husband Howard); four grandchildren, Brittany Stroop, Adam Kramer (wife Andrea), Ryan Stroop (wife Elizabeth), and Grace Blickstein (husband Akvia); and four great grandchildren, Ella, Norah, & Josie Stroop, and Micah Vaeth.
Margaret was best known for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She highly valued each and every relationship and was always available to give of her time to those she loved. She was the glue that held her family together, through her active involvement in their lives, through her prayers for each one of them and through her example as a strong Christian woman.
She was actively involved in her church. She played the piano and organ. She led the Children's Bible Quiz program for many years and served as President of the Nazarene Missions International organization in both Lavelle Church of the Nazarene and Pottstown Church of the Nazarene for a total of 50 years. In addition, she served on a Work and Witness trip to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
Margaret, with her husband and later her family, was a member of the Central Pennsylvania Gospel Band where she played her accordion, and later the bells, and sang with various vocal groups. She loved playing with the band and traveling to various churches and camps in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Ohio, and Michigan, presenting the Gospel through music. She traveled with the band for more than 50 years.
Margaret loved to travel with her husband, Melvin, and her children, Pat & Jim. As grandchildren were born, they also became travel companions. This is just another example of how she invested in the lives of her family. She also enjoyed taking them with her to North East Nazarene Camp in Maryland. She was excited when great-grandchildren came along and loved when they would come to visit.
Words cannot express how much she was loved and how much she loved others. She was a blessed gift from God to everyone she came in contact with. She will be greatly missed, but we celebrate her well-deserved entrance into heaven. We know she will be joyfully singing in the angelic choir.
