Marion E. Miller, 78, of Orwigsburg, passed away Tuesday at Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Allentown.
Marion was born in Schuylkill Haven, Aug. 22, 1939, a daughter of the late Warren and Edith Bowen Hill.
She was a 1958 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School. She last worked and retired from Alcoa, Cressona. She was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran, Schuylkill Haven. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, "The Golden Girls."
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary "Fat" Miller, Jan. 8, 1994, and a daughter Melissa Steigerwalt, June 26, 2017. She was the last living member of her immediate family. Also preceding her in death were a sister, Doris, and brothers, Franklin and Gerald.
Surviving are her sons, Mark Miller (Cheryl), Martin Miller (Gwen) and Michael Miller (Krista); a daughter, Marsha Borden (Larry); son-in-law, Kenny Steigerwalt; grandchildren, Steven, Amy, Megan, Amanda, Laura, Stephanie, Courtney, Acacia, Callie, Jessica, Kelly and Ashley; 10 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. David Rowe officiating. A visitation will be held prior from 9:30 until the time of the service Friday. Interment will be in Cressona Cemetery.
