Mark J. O'Brien

Mark Joseph O'Brien, 54, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday, September 29th, at his residence.

Born in Pottsville on May 7, 1964, a son of Julia (Rodnick) Silfies, of Palo Alto and the late Harold M. Silfies, Sr.

He was a member of Bible Tabernacle Pentecostal Church Schuylkill Haven.

He was formerly employed doing road construction.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by daughters Jocelyn Marie O'Brien and Taylor Joy O'Brien, both of Minersville; a granddaughter Avery Harn; siblings Michael O'Brien husband of Jane, Pottsville, Debra Schwenk wife of Douglas, Schuylkill Haven, Brenda Schwenk wife of Eric, Sr., Pottsville, Michele Docherty wife of Brian, Cressona, Melissa Murphy wife of Jerry, Schuylkill Haven, Harold Silfies, Jr. husband of Sofiya, Schuylkill Haven, Christopher G. Silfies, Palo Alto and Joshua Silfies, Palo Alto; God Mother Ginny Purcell; sister in law Sandra O'Brien, Pottsville and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mark is preceded in death by his father and a brother James Vincent O'Brien.

Services and interment are private at the convenience of family.
