Mary Louise (Walker) Cook

Mary Louise Cook, 78, of Pottsville, PA, passed away Monday, June 28th, at her daughter's home in Pottstown, PA.

Born in Ohio on May 1, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Charles Bertram Walker & Madeline A. (Fessler) Walker.

She married Raymond Edgar Cook on June 23, 1962. He passed away in 1997.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary is also preceded in death by her brother, Walter Walker.

She was a graduate of Blue Mountain High School.

Mary was formerly employed as the sewing floor supervisor for Pine Shirt Company. She was most recently employed by the Evans Family.

Mary was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church, Schuylkill Haven. She was very active in the Women's Society, and small groups at church.

Mary was her family's biggest cheerleader. She faithfully attended her grandchildren, and nieces and nephew's events.

Mary also loved to travel.

She is survived by a son, Raymond Scott Cook, husband of Alison, of Wayne, PA; and a daughter, Jodie Lynn Nadolny, wife of Benjamin, of Pottstown, PA; grandchildren: Trent, Bram, Maddux, Ezra, Abigail, & Leliana, a sister, Shirley Emerich, widow of Ronald, of Cressona, PA, and beloved nieces & nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, July 9th at First United Methodist Church in Schuylkill Haven, PA with Rev. Dr. Christopher Fisher officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 10 AM until the time of service.

Interment will follow at Cressona Cemetery, Cressona.
