Michael D. Rollman, 37, of Landingville, passed away Sunday, February 9th, at home.
Born in Reading on October 3, 1987, he was a son of Mary (Fick) Rollman-Conroy, wife of Brett, of Douglassville and the late Michael David Rollman.
Together 14 years, Michael was the companion of Brianna Anderson.
He was a 2006 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, where he had an illustrious athletic career that continued at Wilkes University.
Michael was last employed by Essig Plumbing & Heating, Inc., Leesport, and Blue Mountain School District, Orwigsburg. As head coach of the Blue Mountain High School softball team, Michael had an impressive record of 101-22. He was named Coach of the Year in 2019 and Co-Coach of the Year in 2023. Under Michael's leadership, the team secured their first ever League championship, second District title, and first ever State championship in school history. In 2024, he led the team to back to back League, District, and State championship titles.
He was president of the South Schuylkill Stampede softball travel team. Coach Mike was well-known for volunteering his time with many youth sports groups.
In addition to his mother, step-father, and Brianna, Michael is also survived by two children: Lilly Rollman, & Michael Bradley Rollman, his brothers, Eric Rollman & US Marine Staff Sergeant Ian Conroy (Hannah), maternal grandparents: Kathleen & Thomas Miller, several cousins, and aunts & uncles: Cynthia Feick, Sharon McCloughan, James Miller (Stacie), Steve Miller (Michelle), Tom Miller, & Wayne Miller.
In addition to his father, Michael is also preceded in death by his aunt, Debra Lucas, and uncles: Scott Fick, & Mike McCloughan.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 5 PM on Saturday, February 15th at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven with Pastor Wendy Orzolek officiating.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 3 PM until the time of service. Parking at Schuylkill Haven High School is encouraged. A shuttle will transport guests to the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the benefit of Michael's children. Checks may be made payable to Tompkins Bank, and sent to 237 Route 61S, Schuylkill Haven PA 17972.
