Michael J. "Mickey" Fedoriska, 61, of Schuylkill Haven and a previous resident of Maryland, passed away Tuesday at Golden LivingCenters-York Terrace, Pottsville.
Born in Pottsville, Dec. 11, 1953, he was a son of Frances H. "Helcie" Pogirski Fedoriska, Schuylkill Haven, and the late John George "Alcoa John" Fedoriska.
He was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, Class of 1971, and proudly served in the Navy as an MS3 aboard the USS Frank Cable.
Mickey was last employed by Wal-Mart in the meat department.
In addition to his mother, he is also survived by a brother, John G. Fedoriska Jr., Schuylkill Haven; three sisters, Debbie Link and husband, Curtis, Orwigsburg, Donna M. Fedoriska and significant other, John Berish, Phoenixville, and Joan M. Breslin and husband, Mike, Schuylkill Haven; a niece, Christy Paige Throne and husband, Dan, Royal Oak, Mich.; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mickey was known as a man with a big heart. He will be sorely missed by many.
A private graveside committal service with military honors will be conducted at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, at the family's convenience.
