Patricia A. Leymeister, 66, of Cressona, passed away Sunday at ManorCare, Pottsville.
Born in Salem, Ohio, March 17, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Charles Leon and Jane Ardell Brown Shade.
She was the wife of Oscar D. Leymeister Jr.
Pat was a graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School and was of the Lutheran faith.
She was formerly employed by Orwigsburg Center as a CNA and was a member of the Cressona Baseball Association and the Westwood Women's Bowling League.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her sister, Darlene J. Thomas; and brother, Keith J. Shade.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Lisa D. D'Attilio and husband, Nick, and Connie J. Leymeister, all of Cressona; a son, Oscar D. Leymeister III and wife, Lisa Wilson, O'Fallon, Ill.; five grandchildren, James A. Reber Jr., Tyler C. Reber, Angelina N. D'Attilio, Sebastian and Penelope Leymeister; four brothers, Michael C. Shade and wife, Darlene, Terry L. Shade and wife, Linda, Christopher A. Shade and wife, Belinda, and Dean F. Shade and fiancee, Tammy; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Ebling Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the family's convenience.
