Paul F. "Skip" Clauser III, 54, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Monday at Golden LivingCenter-York Terrace, Pottsville.
Born in Pottsville, Nov. 24, 1961, he was a son of Ellen Louise Hughes Clauser, Schuylkill Haven, and the late Paul F. Clauser Jr.
He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Summer Hill, Auburn.
Skip was a graduate of Blue Mountain High School and was formerly employed by American Argo, Willow Lake plant, as the dye shift supervisor.
He enjoyed driving dune buggies while camping at Blackwood, loved his pet dogs, puttering around the house on the golf cart and cutting grass. Skip was generous and particular in all things.
In addition to his father, Paul was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Paul F. Sr. and Luella E. Schaller Clauser; maternal grandparents, Lewis and Eva Fidler Hughes.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a brother, Robert Clauser, husband of Dana, Wayne Township; nieces, Lauren, Linsey and Kaylee Clauser; aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Summer Hill, Auburn, with Mark Dewald, pastor, officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be in Summer Hill Cemetery. At the family's request, memorial donations may be sent to St. Paul's United Church of Christ Memorial Fund, Auburn, PA 17922.
