Paul J. Paris, 67, of Washington Township, passed away Thursday at home.
Born in Philadelphia, March 23, 1948, he was a son of the late Paul A. and Evelyn Marsilio Paris.
Paul was the proud husband of Ruby J. Paris.
He retired from the Philadelphia Police Department after 24 years of service, and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5, Philadelphia.
Paul enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting and fishing with his family.
In addition to his wife, Paul is also survived by five children, Michelle Miller, wife of John, Melissa Paris, Paul A. Paris, husband of Shannon, Casey Thomas, husband of Elizabeth, and Jenny Felty, wife of Samuel; eight grandchildren, Abigail Miller, Taylor Felty, Leah Miller, Jacob Miller, Samuel Paris, Alexander Paris, Emma Paris and Chelsea Felty.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, 26 Chestnut St., Cressona. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
