Paul C. Stank, 88, of Lake Wynonah, passed away Sunday at home surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was born in Schuylkill Haven, a son of the late George and Anna Stank.
Paul attended Pottsville High School and served in the Army Air Force from 1945 to 1947. He was a retired manager of ARA Linen Service and the Pottsville Area School District maintenance staff.
Paul was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Auburn. He was a life member of the American Hose Company, and past member of AMVETS Post 180, both of Pottsville. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and Scottish Rite of Free Masonry Meritorious Service Award recipient, a past member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, and a past member of Caldwell Consistory of Bloomsburg.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Jean; a brother, George.
He is survived by three children, Gail, wife of Robert Kolenda, Tucson, Ariz., Karen, wife of Richard Howenstine, Mechanicsburg, and son, Terry Stank, husband of Cathy, Lake Wynonah. He was the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
