Raydelle I. (Knoll) Gerber

Raydelle I. Gerber, 85, formerly of Friedensburg, passed away Wednesday, August 25th, at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center, Tremont, where she had been a resident.

Born in Friedensburg on October 14, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Arthur & Maude (Boughter) Knoll.

She was the loving wife of Robert L. Gerber. The couple was married 69 years.

Raydelle was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Pottsville.

She was a homemaker, as well as a wonderful wife and mother.  She also shared the Bibles message of God’s Kingdom to her neighbors and friends from door to door.

In addition to her husband, Raydelle is also survived by two daughters, Irma Lee Meade, of TN; & Priscilla Mowery, of FL; and two sons, Tony Gerber, of Hegins; & Eugene Gerber, of Lewistown.She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, & a sister, Nancy Rauenzahn of Schuylkill Haven.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Flanagan & a brother, Elmer Schnoke, both of Schuylkill Haven.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted via Zoom on Sunday September 19th at 3pm.The service will be officiated by Paul Moyer, an Elder of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Pottsville.  Please contact Raydelle's family if you would like the Zoom link.
