Robert P. Geiger, 54, of Minersville, passed away Saturday, June 20th, at Schuylkill Medical Center East , Pottsville.

Robert was born in Pottsville,  on October 20, 1960, a son of the late Dorothy (Adams) and Wilbur  Geiger.

He worked as a chef at various local restaurants and was a graduate of Blue Mountain High School, class of 1979.

Robert is survived by brothers Joseph Geiger husband of Tina, Orwigsburg and Donald Geiger, Pottsville; sister Cheryl Toth, McAdoo; nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Salvation Army, 400 Sanderson St., Pottsville, with Capt. Kevin Polito presiding. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Geschwindt Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc. 25 East Main Street Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972, to help defray costs of the services.
