Robert G. Hildenbrandt, 88, of Ocala, FL, passed away Tuesday, May 26th, at Sylvia House, Ocala, FL, where he had been a resident.
Born in Pottsville, PA on January 22, 1927, he was a son of the late George E. & Mary Louise (Lamb) Hildenbrandt.
He was the widower of Dorothy (Greenawalt) Hildenbrandt, who preceded him in death February 9, 2009.
He was of the Lutheran faith and proudly served in the U.S. Navy.
Robert was formerly employed by IBM as senior electrical engineer, and was a member of the International Ham Radio Society.
He is survived by three daughters; Sharon Hildenbrandt, Roswell, GA, Janet, wife of Tom Davis, Winter Garden, FL, and Nancy, wife of Mark Johnson, Ocala, FL, and two sons; Richard Hildenbrandt, and Robert Hildenbrandt, and wife, Deborah, all of Ocala, FL, and a sister, Mary Louise Lanyon, Metuchen, NJ.
Robert is also survived by eight grandchildren; Gregory Hildenbrandt, Melissa Keathley, Robert Davis, Richard Hildenbrandt, Jr., Talon, Ashli, Linzi & Josef Johnson, three great-grandchildren; Daniel & Aden Keathley, and Aubrey Hildenbrandt, one step-grandchild, Kimberly, and two step-great-grandchildren, Justin Keathley and Dylan Windham
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Schuylkill Haven, PA, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 1st, with Pastor Kathleen Ash-Flashner officiating.
A viewing will be held at the church Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Interment will follow the service at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
