Ruth E. Seiler, 90, formerly of Schuylkill Haven, died Friday at her daughter Carol's home, Pottsville.
Ruth was born in Hazleton, April 18, 1926, a daughter of the late George and Florence Leibensperger McMinn.
She was the widow of Lyle E. Seiler, who died May 6, 2013, to whom she was married for 68 years.
She was a member of Grace Free Church, Cressona.
Ruth was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School and attended Ford School of Business and Empire Beauty School.
She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas E. Seiler, a brother, Bob McMinn, and a sister, Dorothy Hay.
Ruth is survived by two daughters, Carol, wife of Alex Kalinich, Minersville, and Jane E. Seiler, Harrisburg; two sons, Richard Seiler and James R. Seiler, both of Schuylkill Haven; grandchildren, Michael Cadau, Barbara Osilka, Angela Yager, Erika Ledzema, Jonathon Seiler, Sue Cina, Karen Seiler, Marianna Seiler, Johnny Seiler, Bobby Seiler, Alex Kalinich; great-grandchildren; a niece, Peggy Ritter, Reading.
A religious service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, 26 Chestnut St., Cressona, with the Rev. Randy Ott officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions to Grace Free Church, 101 Graeff St., Cressona, PA 17929. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
