Shirley Ann (Reed) Dierwechter

Shirley Ann Dierwechter, 88, of North Manheim Township, passed away Tuesday, March 18th, at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg.

Born in Pottsville on February 9, 1937, she was a daughter of the late  Earl Peter & Mabel (Koenig) Reed.

She was the widow of Meldon Neil Dierwechter.

In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley was also preceded in death by her son, Bryan Dierwechter, and three sisters: Ethel, Dorothy, & Mabel.

She was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Schuylkill Haven.

Shirley was a Schuylkill Haven High School graduate, Class of 1955.

She was employed by the Schuylkill Haven School District in the cafeteria.

Shirley is survived by four children: Daryl Dierwechter & wife, Bette, IL, Cheryl Griffiths, PA, Audrey Lascala & husband, Ronald, & Lori Spotts, husband of Craig, all of Schuylkill Haven, grandchildren: JC, Lisa, Shauna, Josh, Ivor, Jason, Christopher S., Nicholas, Christopher L., KateLynn, Kristen, & Corey, and 18 great-grandchildren.

Services are private at the convenience of family.
