Stephen J. "Steve" Henry, 74, of Easton, passed away Wednesday at Old Orchard Health Care Center, Easton.
Born in Altoona, Dec. 14, 1940, he was a son of the late Dorothy Orwig Henry.
He was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, Class of 1958, and also attended East Stroudsburg State College.
Steve began working for the Phillips-Van Heusen Corp., Pottsville, in November 1962. He was transferred to Bridgewater, N.J., where he retired in May 1996 as vice president director of electronic commerce.
He played soprano bugle as a proud member of the Reading Buccaneers Drum & Bugle Corps.
Steve is survived by a sister, Carolann Stoyer, Easton; a nephew, Trevor E. Stoyer, and a great-nephew, Trevor A. Stoyer, both of Baldwinsville, N.Y.; and his former wife, Cecile Shimko Ryland.
Service and interment at Union Cemetery will be held privately at the family's convenience. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Steve's memory may be made to Reading Buccaneer's Drum & Bugle Corps., P.O. Box 13032, Reading, PA 19612.
