Steven E. Wenrich, 68, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Wednesday, November 16th, at West Reading Hospital.
Born in Pottsville on July 19, 1948, he was a son of the late Clayton Wenrich & Gloria (Shappell) Clouser.
He was the loving husband of Sharon A. (Wallace) Wenrich.
Steve was a Schuylkill Haven High School graduate, Class of 1966, and attended Saint Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven.
Steve proudly retired after 21 years from the U.S. Army, ranking as Major.
He had also retired from the Department of Public Welfare as claims manager.
In addition to his parents, Steve is also preceded in death by his step-father, Charles Clouser.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters: Shawna Wenrich, companion of Leo Schappe, Deer Lake, and Stefanie Wenrich, Pottsville, and granddaughter, Locklyn Wenrich, as well as brother-in-law, William Wallace, husband of JoHannah, niece, Erin Ireland & her son, Dylan, and his buddy, Inka.
A Scriptual Prayer Service will be held at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. with Monsignor Edward Zemanik officiating.
A viewing will be held at the church in the chapel from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.
Interment with military honors will follow at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
