Susan Dawn Margavage, 63, of Cressona, passed away Saturday at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street.
Born in Pottsville, March 15, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Vera Drye Zechman.
She was a member of Bethany Christian Fellowship Church, Cressona.
A graduate of Blue Mountain High School, she also graduated with honors from Schuylkill Institute of Business & Technology.
Susan was employed as a medical assistant at the office of Dr. Ghaffar A. Zafar, Pottsville.
Susan is survived by her children, Michelle Ann (Michael) Hyser, Mechanicsburg, Jeffrey Michael Margavage (Carla), Schuylkill Haven, and Brian Margavage, Cressona; brother, Robert Zechman (Darlene), New Ringgold; sisters, Melvia Haas (Charles), Durham, N.C., Gloria Kistler (Arthur), Orwigsburg, Georgine Bolich (widow of Paul), Schuylkill Haven; grandsons, Rhen and Ethan Halter, Mechanicsburg; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the family's convenience.
