Thelma M. Evans, 94, of Pottsville, passed away Friday, February 27th, at Providence Place.
Thelma was born in Pottsville, on October 16, 1920, a daughter of the late Bessie (Fenstermacher) and William F. B. Evans.
She graduated from Schuylkill Haven High School and attended Penn State for two years.
She was employed as an Accountant at the former Alcoa, Cressona.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister Alberta Evans.
Thelma was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville.
Thelma is the last member of her immediate family.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc. , Schuylkill Haven, at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, March 6th, with Rev. Harold Hand officiating.
Friends may call from 10 A.M. till time of service at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc..
Contribution in Thelma’s name may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund 300 West Arch Street, Pottsville, PA 17901.
Interment will be at Jerusalem Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.
