Trinette Ann (Urffer) Mengel

Trinette Ann Mengel, 73, formerly of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Thursday, February 24th, at her daughter, Traci's home in Deer Lake.
Born in Pottsville on June 16, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Daniel & Betty (Zimmerman) Urffer.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sisters: Diane Fessler, & Deb Urffer.
Trinette had worked for the Walk-In Shoe Factory, Schuylkill Haven, for 19 years as a stamping machine operator until its closing.She later worked for Gramma's Restaurant, Schuylkill Haven, as a waitress for 20 years, and retired as a waitress from Josie's Place, Schuylkill Haven, in 2017. She enjoyed the company of the regulars at Josie's Place, who were affectionately referred to as the "Morning Morons".
Trinette was a member of the Deer Lake Fire Company.
She is survived by a son, Todd Henry, of Hamburg; two daughters: Traci, wife of William Jacobson, Sr., of Deer Lake; & Jenifer, wife of Timothy Laughlin, of Deer Lake. Trinette is also survived by grandchildren: Erika, Jessica, Dallas, & Kyliegh Henry, Christopher, & Nicholas Nye, William Jacobson, Jr., Laura, & Anna Laughlin, and Allyson, & Alaina Weachock, three sisters: Darla Suzann Wood, Pamela Hale, & Teresa Ryan, and a brother, Daniel Urffer and nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 3rd at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven with Pastor Brian Reading officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will be privately held at the family's convenience.
