Victor F. Arbushites, 69, of Lake Wynonah, passed away Monday at his residence.
Born Sept. 1, 1947, in Shenandoah, he was a son of the late Francis and Emma Gurski Arbushites.
Victor was a 1965 graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah, a Vietnam-era veteran, having served from 1967 to 1969, and a mixer operator at Pillsbury Co., East Greenville, until 1994. He also served in various positions of Local 221 of the Grainmillers Union including president from 1989 to 1991, and vice president from 1991 to 1994.
Victor was a coach for South Mountain Allentown's midget football and little league baseball. He was a member of American Legion Post 0792, Shenandoah.
He was of the Roman Catholic faith.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert, in 2010.
Victor is survived by his wife of 25 years, Margaret Coleman Arbushites; a son, Jeffrey and his fiancee, Arielle Bair, and two grandchildren, Mia and Julia, Northampton; a daughter, Amy, Philadelphia; a brother, Francis and his wife, Sandra, Shenandoah Heights; 18 nieces and nephews; 14 great-nieces and great-nephews, and one great-grandnephew.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, 26 Chestnut St., Cressona. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mark Brooks officiating. An additional visitation time will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the family's convenience.
