Virginia J. Reese

Virginia Janice "Jancey" Reese, 90, formerly of Saint Clair, passed away Wednesday, August 30th, at Luther Ridge, Pottsville.

Born in Saint Clair on September 9, 1932, she was a daughter of the late David & Helen (Krebs) Reese.

Jancey was a 1950 graduate of Saint Clair High School.  She later earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in education.  Jancey belonged to Phi Beta Kappa sorority.

She had worked as a teacher for Pottstown School District for 18 years.

In addition to her parents, Jancey is also preceded in death by her sister, Joan Dix.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, James Dix, nieces, Hilary Hayes, & Adrienne Shreiner, and great-nephews, Nathan Hayes, & Robert Shreiner.

A private interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Saint Clair, will be held at the family's convenience.
