Vivian L. Adams, 95, formerly of Adamsdale, passed away Sunday at Luther Crest retirement community, Allentown.
Born in Adamsdale, Nov. 21, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Bertha L. Behler Fryer.
She was the widow of Marvin L. Adams, who passed away in 1987.
Vivian was a member of Welcome United Methodist Church, Landingville.
She was formerly employed by Landing Knitting Co. throughout her working years.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harold B. Fryer.
Vivian is survived by a daughter, Gayle Adams-Noggle, wife of Scott Noggle, East Petersburg; a son, John "Jack" Adams, husband of Marilyn Adams, Emmaus; granddaughter, Suzanne R. Cressman, wife of David Cressman, Allentown; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Emma Cressman; a sister, Arlene R. Feger, Elizabethtown; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Welcome United Methodist Church, Landingville, with the Rev. James Fryer officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Interment will take place in Park Hill Cemetery, Landingville.
At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Vivian's memory may be made to Welcome United Methodist Church, Box A-3, 107 Main St., Landingville, PA 17972.
