Warren Arthur Ferrebee

January 8, 1923 — February 1, 2018

Warren Arthur Ferrebee, 95, of South Manheim Township, passed away Thursday, February 1st, at Rosewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Schuylkill Haven.

Born in Pine Grove on January 8, 1923, he was a son of the late Warren Oscar & Polly Ann (Bressler) Ferrebee.

In addition to his parents, Arthur is also preceded in death by his brother, Harvey Franklin Ferrebee, and sister, Clara Mae Hawk.

He was the loving husband for 25 years of Virginia L. (Sener) Ferrebee.

In addition to his loving wife, he is also survived by his sister-in-law, Evelyn Freebee, of Pine Grove; brother in law and sister in law Robert and Gayle Rock, Ashland; several friends and good neighbors including friend, Rob Klipola and his dog Emma, Summit Station; friend Josh Krammes, Pine Grove who referred Arthur as his Pop; friend Brandon Hess and family, nieces and nephews. As well as his dog Sassy and several cats.

Arthur served in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman First Class in WW II.

He was a member of the AMVETS Post #114 in Summit Station, American Legion Post #42 in Towanda, and VFW.

Arthur was the former owner and operator of the Sunoco Gas Station in Strausstown. He was also a heavy equipment mechanic.

Arthur loved to play musical instruments including the harmonica, mandolin, guitar and banjo. He also enjoyed repairing and restoring lawn mowers and mowing his property.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held privately at the family's convenience.
