William A. "Bud" Nabholz

William A. "Bud" Nabholz, 76, of Pottsville, passed away Wednesday, September 27th, at Green Valley Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Pottsville.

Born in Pottsville on December 9, 1946, he was a son of the late Leonard & Kathryn Isabelle (Murray) Nabholz.

He was the widower of Margaret R. "Manzy" (Haughney) Nabholz, his wife of 46 years.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is also preceded in death by his brothers: Robert, & Raymond Nabholz.

Bud was a Pottsville High School graduate, and had served in the U.S. Air Force.

He worked as a union electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Bud was a member of the West End Hose Company No. 7, Pottsville for over 50 years.

He is survived by two sons: Shawn Nabholz, of Cumberland, MD; & Corey Nabholz, husband of Jamie, of Pottsville.

Bud enjoyed camping every weekend with his dog, Oreo at his campsite in Perry County.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, October 2nd at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with Pastor Kenneth McDowell officiating.

A viewing will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service.

Interment with military honors will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
