Kathryn Elizabeth (Heffner) Johnson

Kathryn Elizabeth Johnson, 97, of Pottsville, passed away Monday, May 10th, at Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Allentown.
Born in Pottsville on October 4, 1923, she was a daughter of the late John & Sarah (Luckenbill) Heffner.
She was the widow of Charles Johnson.
Kathryn was a graduate of Branch Township High School, Class of 1941.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville, where she participated in their Crafts Club. She also belonged to the Over 50 Club, St. Clair.
Kathryn had worked as a seamstress at Phillips Van Heusen.
She is survived by a son, Col. Edward J., husband of Beverly Felker, of Tampa, FL, grandchildren: Christine Lafferty & husband, Ray, Suffolk, VA, Jessica Bello & husband, Jorge, Tampa, FL, and Jeffrey Felker, Centreville, MD, and great-grandchildren: Amanda, & Kelly Lafferty, Gabriel, & Jackson Felker, and Matthew Wendt.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by son, Wally Johnson, daughter, Sarah Sue Felker, brother, Franklin Heffner, and sister, Shirley Strausser.
A private Funeral Service and interment will be held at the family's convenience.
