Michael A. Cavadini

Michael A. Cavadini, 60, of Auburn, PA, passed away Saturday, March 6th, at St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg.

Born in Cliffwood Beach, NJ on August 17, 1960, he was a son of the late Angelo & Mary (D'Alessio) Cavadini.

He was the husband of Sherry L. (Budis) Cavadini.

In addition to his parents, Mike is also preceded in death by his cousin, Marc Dibella; his birth parents Louis and Elizabeth Erbetta; as well as siblings, aunts and uncles.

Mike was a graduate of Watchung Hills High School, Class of 1978.

He had worked on the Long Hill Township Road Department for 18 years. He retired from North Plainfield School District; where he had been employed doing what he loved, maintaining the athletic fields for the entire school district.

In addition to his wife, Mike is also survived by his pride & joy and best friend, daughter, Courtney Cavadini, at home; a sister, Patricia Erbetta, of Maryland, and a brother, John, husband of Anne Erbetta, of South Amboy, NJ; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

After retirement, Mike focused his talents on coaching Courtney's sports teams.He coached Cressona Softball, and Blue Mountain Recreational Basketball. He was an avid sports enthusiast.Mike enjoyed sharing his love of sports with kids.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, March 13th at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, 201 Randle St., Schuylkill Haven, PA with Rev. Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik officiating.

Public Viewing will be held from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM on Saturday, March 13th at the church.

Interment will be March 27th at 1 pm at St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery, 459 Chestnut St., Stirling NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mike's memory may be made to Lake Wynonah Fish & Boat, 406 Navajo Dr. Auburn, PA 17922.
